Linux. I guess it's really not a big deal since it's for 3.99.4, it's
just very strange because I've never seen it before. Sarah supplied a
patch. You just need to declare a dummy function which uses fstat and
link it in.

OH !! Now I know why I never had the problem before. I wrote my own
little fstat function for stk. I'm on my laptop now and using a clean
3.99.4 distribution. My distribution on the other computer has the
fstat extension linked in...

I tried looking at it last night and I think it has something to do
with the fact that there seems to be a <Font> class in the Lib
directory. I think there is a clash between the types since xxl
defines its own Font class.

However, when I tried to use STk's font class things still broke
rather badly.
